Penn National Acquires Social Casino Developer Rocket Games

Penn National Gaming has acquired San Fransisco-based Rocket Games for approximately $60 million cash in addition to earn outs of up to $110 million. 

The deal brings a giant of the physical and machine slots industry together with one of the most successful online operators. Rocket Games grew 500% in 2019, making $5.6 million operating EBITDA during the six months ending June 30, 2016. 

Rocket Games has over 50 apps in its portfolio including Slots and Casino games for Android, iOS, Amazon and Facebook platforms.
